Ambassador Frédéric Edem Hegbe, born on April 27, 1951, has been serving as Togo's Ambassador to the United States since 2017. A career diplomat, he previously held key positions within the Togolese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Chargé d’Affaires and Deputy Chief of Mission in Washington, D.C. With a strong background in international relations, Ambassador Hegbe has represented Togo at numerous global conferences. He graduated from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon and has contributed significantly to humanitarian efforts in Togo, including projects focused on water access and solar energy. Fluent in both French and English, he is an advocate for sustainable development in his home country.
