Chibamba Kanyama

Chibamba Kanyama, born on January 26, 1965, is a prominent Zambian business leader and writer specializing in communication strategy and corporate governance. He began his career at the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation in 1989, eventually becoming Executive Producer. Kanyama has held significant roles, including Director General at ZNBC and Communications Advisor at the International Monetary Fund. In March 2023, he was appointed Ambassador-Designate to the United States, presenting his credentials to President Joe Biden in June 2023. A prolific contributor to various initiatives, Kanyama has been a business columnist, UNICEF Ambassador, and founder of the Teen Vision Trust Zambia, which focuses on empowering youth through business education.
